Where to watch Euro 2020 in Abu Dhabi

Inverted wingers, false nine, overlapping centre-backs; whatever your preferred line-up you’ll want to get around this mega list of the best Euro 2020 deals in Abu Dhabi ahead of this summer’s big kick-off on Friday June 11.

The road to Euro 2020 has been longer, bumpier and all-round more hazardous than usual, but that hasn’t dampened enthusiasm for the beautiful game.

Anticipation has reached fever pitch, and we’re personally one 30-yard howitzer away from lifting our shirt over our head and knee sliding across the office (all while socially distanced, of course).

Here are the best places to watch the Euro 2020 matches in Abu Dhabi, serving up brilliant deals throughout the championship.

A wild west-themed bar surely goes down as the best place to watch a (penalty) shootout? 49er’s The Gold Rush will be screening every minute of the Euro 2020 action this summer, and we’re big fans of that.

Abu Dhabi Golf Club

Foosball, darts, beer pong, pool, PlayStation and just the small matter of Europe’s best players duking it out for glory: it’s all happening at Abu Dhabi Golf Club from Friday June 11. Six screens (plus a monster seventh) are screening every game at this non-smoking venue. There’s also daily football fantasy games and chances to win buckets of hops, while holders of the Fan Zone Card will get drinks for as low as Dhs25.

Appaloosa Sports Bar

It may have American roots, but Appaloosa is getting right behind the English game this summer. A giant HD screen is in place in the converted hops garden, while an electronics-shop worth of smaller units (25 to be exact) will ensure no-one misses the drama inside. Buckets are going for Dhs150 while the same amount of dirhams will score you a burger and three pints. Just don’t call it soccer…

Belgian Café Yas Island

Belgian Café is deploying a formidable line-up for Euro 2020. Already well noted for its sporting hospitality, they’ve devised no fewer than eight promo deals to entice fans into their Euro-centric venue this summer. The pick of the bunch include a bite and a pint for Dhs49, the ‘Passport’ promo in which every fifth drink is on the house and the snack platter and 12 pints combo that’ll feed and water four fans for Dhs469.

Catch the action up on a massive LED screen this popular Euro-centric pub. Every game will be screened between now and the end of the competition on July 11.

Centro Capital Centre

There’s a raft of promotions going on at Centro Capital Centre for Euro 2020, and plenty of chances to win big, too. Staycations at the Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villa and brunch with Dino’s Bistro Italiano, plus dining vouchers for The Warehouse, are all up for grabs for those who can predict the Euro 2020 champs and semi-finalists. Ireland may prefer the Gaelic form of the game but there’s always more than a bit of enthusiasm for footy in its international iteration, too. PJ O’Reilly’s is marking the big kick off with a raft of changes to its drinks deal. This popular beachfront haunt is getting a football-orientated overhaul just in time for the big kick-off. A massive cinematic LED screen will be beaming every kick and header straight into the retinas of fans, with the addition of live entertainment making for a stadium-like atmosphere. The best bit? The screen faces the pool, so there’s ample opportunity to keep cool while catching a match.

Footy is all about the fans, and supporters will be in the thick of it at this dedicated fan zone.
